Saturday, February 5, were held in Deurne, near Antwerp (Belgium) SE de Pret's funeral, attended by family and friends, among them four representatives of the Principality of Seborga : Consul of Seborga in Holland, Commander Groeneveld, the Consul of Seborga in Luxembourg, Baron Arnott, the Knight of the Order of St. Sepulchre Verschueren (Candidate Consul in Antwerp) and the Knight of the Order of St. Bernard Devos (ex Consul at Antwerp).
The ceremony, which was also attended by his widow, Mrs. Vivan Lambregts, was very touching and moving, both for the actions of those who spoke, praising and remembering the character of honest and fair de Pret, both for the time: a rainy day that has aroused in some, particularly the Knight Devos, the thought that on that sad occasion, even angels cry.
Seborga The delegation, agreed to ask SAS Marcello I of Seborga allow Mrs. Viviane Lambregts, who has kindly agreed to deliver all the practical Seborgan of her husband, to retain the title of "Honorary Ambassador."
